Google pushes further with NaCl

Google is pushing further on their mission to bring a "Native Client" for Javascript to the world.  Native client promises to allow web applications to run fast, as fast as natively compiled code. Being a dinosaur of sorts, I remember when Microsoft introduced .NET (I was there!).  The .NET runtime was exactly this, a "Managed Client" for code written in C# or VB.NET to run somewhat natively on Windows x86 platforms - ONLY - that was their mistake IMHO.  C# is a great language, well thought out and developed, awesome IDE, etc - but, it doesn't really let you build smokin' fast web apps, this is where NaCl comes in.  I hope it catches on!
