President and co-founder of Statusfirm, Chris has been described as “an entrepreneurial savant with a singular talent for recognizing new trends, new markets and new opportunities.”

Chris’ background is eclectic, to say the least. As a teenager, Chris was a competitive skateboarder and studied classical guitar. By the time he was 18 years old he was an executive with a marketing firm; at the age of 20 he had already started and sold his first successful company; and at 22 he was an oil industry executive.

When he and his partner Dave Nedohin came up with the idea for Statusfirm, Chris’ business philosophy – then and now – was ingeniously simple: Rather than aim for large audiences, he looks for niche pockets of viewers that he knows can drive advertising and this philosophy has proven to be a windfall for the 31-year old entrepreneur and the company he helped found.

Chris has also developed a reputation internationally as a visionary and highly sought-after consultant in the world of broadband media, earning him an invitation to the 2007 Banff Next Media conference as a panelist.
